I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. As a youth I enjoyed all sorts of physical activity such as team sports and bike riding. Shortly after graduating high school I joined the military.

I served 6 years in the U.S. Army. During my service I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of great people from all over the country, and even the world. I was Honorably Discharged in 2009.

I wasn’t quite finished with the military after I was discharged. I decided to continue serving in the National Guard for 3 years. While still serving, I attended the University of Texas – Arlington.

At UTA I majored in Communication Technology with a minor in Information Systems. I received my degree in 2012.

I’m currently a web specialist at SMU, with the Development and External Affairs department. I enjoy the everyday challenges of a fast paced environment, and I love working within a team.

I also host a YouTube channel called easydevtuts. It’s a hobby of mine and my way of helping other people learn to code.
